Telephone is a weekly whisper chain. One message travels the internet one person at a time—listen once, pass it on, see how far it drifts.
Each week starts with a new message. Then it travels the internet. One person holds it at a time. They hear it once, type back what they heard, and pass it on. It changes along the way. At the end of the week, the original message is revealed, along with its journey.
There is a single line. You’ll see your own place in it, not anyone else’s. When it’s your turn, you get a short window to listen and reply. Miss it and you can rejoin the line. You can wait on-site or leave a phone number to be texted when your turn is near.
A new message drops every Monday at 8am Pacific time. The cycle ends on Sundays at 6pm, when the journey is revealed. You can take part once per day.
Past cycles stay up—original message, final message, route map, drift score, and a pass-by-pass reveal. Browse them anytime from the archive.
Telephone doesn’t use logins or passwords. You enter a display name when you join the queue. Optional streak data lives on your device unless you choose to back it up with a code.
